Felt Lantern Installation - Continuous Movement - Loco Klub - 30/03/18
A collection of 3m high lanterns in response to the increasing vulnerability and threatened ecosystems of coral reefs in light of climate change. The lanterns stood still and silent, observing life carry on as normal around them.
Exhibited at underground arts venue ‘Loco Klub’ for Bristol nightlife event ‘Continuous Movement’.
Hive - July 2015
Sculptural installation in response to the population decline of bees - made from recycled cardboard, bottles fabric and wax. This collection of sculptural pieces were made to echo empty or abandoned hives and cocoons. I intended this piece to be uncomfortable and disturbing to look at to recognise the gravity of this issue and the severe impact human life would suffer were we to continue to lose bees at the rate we are.
